A CyberLynk Managed server is a server that is leased to a single customer.
The server hardware, routing equipment, software and network connectivity
are monitored and maintained by CyberLynk.
What is the difference between Managed and Dedicated Servers?
- With a Managed Server, CyberLynk maintains everything from hardware
- With a Dedicated Server, CyberLynk
ONLY maintains the hardware. The customer maintains ALL the server software.

storage, RAID, etc. and each systems is configured with core Internet

and the latest security patches, service packs and hot fixes. Load balanced
and/or clustered servers for high availability and high performance applications
are also available
CyberLynk services are monitored 24x7 by CyberLynks Network Operations
Center Monitoring System which monitors every critical aspect of your
Managed Server as well as our end-to-end network infrastructure.
I. Every CyberLynk Managed Server includes the following:

- A dedicated 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection on a DS3 connection
- All server hardware and maintenance and any hardware failures are

- DNS service for your Managed Servers domain name
II. CyberLynk Managed Operating System (OS) servers include these
- 24x7 operating system and security monitoring and notification
- Operating system routine maintenance
- Account creation and deletion
- 24x7 core Internet application monitoring and notification
- Core internet application maintenance
- 24x7 immediate troubleshooting response to operating system and core
Internet application failures upon detection.

III. CyberLynk Managed Application servers include application
specific administration and management utilizing best practice methods
and procedures performed by certified application administrators. Contact

Does your current provider allow you to see the Internet traffic your company generates on a dialy basis? CyberLynk keeps traffic
graphs for every connection on our network and monitors them 5 minutes. CyberLynk customers have unlimited access to their Internet traffic graph.
To ensure continuity, the Managed Server setup process is coordinated
by a single point of contact: your Managed Server Engineer. Expect the
setup process to be about one month from order entry to final acceptance.
Administrative, technical and emergency contact information for your company
is collected and added to our Network Operation Center database. Your
CyberLynk team members responsible for ongoing support of your Managed
Server are identified and you are provided with contact names and phone
numbers to allow you to reach CyberLynk 24 hours a day in the event of
trouble. Provisions are made and communicated to you for remote server
control and content updates using secure and encrypted methods. Finally,
your server is made available for content loading, management and availability
to the Internet.
Performance and uptime commitments
Through state of the art technology, we guarantee that our Managed Servers
will be available 99.9% of the time*. All servers will be available to
customers for their use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week except during scheduled
CyberLynks 24x7 Network Operations Monitoring System allows us
to monitor all aspects of your server and our end-to-end network infrastructure
to deliver optimal performance for things such as processor/memory utilization,
memory management and bandwidth utilization.
CyberLynk also offers 24 hour/7 days a week emergency technical help
desk support as well as 8:00 to 5:00 M-F enhanced support.
All CyberLynk Managed Servers come with a Service Level Agreement. Your
SLA determines credits to your account in the event that CyberLynk does
not meet specific availability/uptime commitments. Credits are specified
for network availability and hardware availability*.
